Description:
This condominium development renovates and adds to an existing brick building. The new box that sits atop the brick base is clad in zinc panels, with full-height windows and vertically-oriented light boxes arranged randomly about the facades. This last piece gives the design its most striking feature.
Sitting on the edge of the increasingly-popular Meatpacking District, the condo takes its name from a cut of beef, recalling the area's ever-dwindling focus.
