Description:

Keeping with Crate & Barrel's crisp and white aesthetic that started with downtown Chicago's flagship store, their corporate headquarters in suburban Chicago is a composition of white metal panels, white brick, and glass. The L-shaped building sits on 24 acres of wooded land, a large parking area north and west of the building.

The east side is devoted to controlled scenic views from within the offices to the site's greenery. This area helps screen the building from busy Waukegan Road.

The building is located at 1250 Techny Road, in the suburb of Northbrook, about 20 miles north of Chicago.

Train: Metra Milwaukee North Line to North Glenview or Northbrook

Bus: Pace route 422 from Northbrook Metra station to Willow and Waukegan Roads

Car: The office building is best reached by the Edens Expressway, taking the westbound Willow exit to Waukegan Road north.

The offices are private, not open to the public.
