Description:
The Cooper Square Hotel stands at the north end of the rapidly-changing Bowery Street. At 21 stories tall, it is one of the the tallest buildings in this mostly low-rise neighborhood. Its curved profile, cantilevered upper floors and white, glossy surface contrast with the old brick and stone buildings that surround it. Outdoor spaces on the second level are accessed by a staircase that divides the base of the building and allow circulation around the building.
