Architect:
Audrey Matlock
Completion:
2009
Description:
This 12-story condominium stands out on an otherwise unremarkable block in West Chelsea. Its undulating facade and variegated glass panels bring movement and light to the street. The building brings attention to itself by its color and form without over-powering its neighbors. It is encouraging to see an architect whose works include the Times Square high-rise 1540 Broadway also work at a scale that strengthens a low-rise community.
