Completion:
2002
Description:
According to the architects, The Bohen Foundation is "a private foundation that supports contemporary art and culture ...and requires maximum spatial flexibility to allow the exhibition of different media."
To this end eight shipping container sections are used to create the permanent functions of the foundation, though each can be moved on rails set within the old printing factory's floor. Movable wall partitions are also used to create flexible gallery spaces. A basement level is visible through some grated flooring, where it appears films and other multi-media installations are shown.
